Everyone is familiar with Stephan Leitzinger's bassoon bocals, now we have equally fine bocals for contra bassoon! Available in two types: "M" is the standard bocal: • relaxed playing, even in dynamic extremes • full tone with exceptional projection • even scale and tone throughout the entire range of the instrument • optimal blowing resistance"F" is a "super bocal", all the properties of the "M" model plus: • more stable intonation without affecting the evenness of tone • greater volume • secure response and projection in all registers and dynamics • full, soft tone throughout the entire rangeEach bocal is individually soldered, hammered and bent by hand, then plated with either silver, gold, or platinum. Leitzinger contrabassoon bocals are available in standard lengths of 1, 2 and 3.
